A Conversation with Mike Horn, The World's Greatest Modern-Day Explorer

  • Voyager Clubhouse 137 West 25th Street New York, NY, 10001 United States

Meet the world’s greatest modern-day explorer.

Mike Horn is an adventurer and explorer who is currently on a voyage traversing the globe. In two decades, he has seen more of the Earth than possibly any other human. He walked to the north pole during the dark season (more people have been to the moon) and has scaled the world’s 8,000-meter peaks, including a recent attempt to paraglide K2. You can follow him on his journey here, and actually meet him in person at the Voyager Clubhouse this Wednesday, May 17th.

As part of his voyage, Mike just completed a solo journey across Antarctica. On Foot. He’s the first person to do this, and his stories are fascinating. You can read about it in this interview with Men’s Journal.

Why should you attend?

Curiosity is one of the most valuable qualities that we take pride in fostering, and it’s critical to the work we do every day. We learn from conversations with others, asking questions, or just being exposed to new things. Curiosity conversations help us step out of our own world, widen our perspective and give us experiences we might not have on our own.
